Hear From People We’ve Helped

 No more tears convinced me to stop lying about my addiction and helped me go to detox and then treatment.  They helped me believe that I was worth living a better life, gave me hope for my future, and never once gave up on me no matter how I treated them. Another way no more tears helped me in my recovery was to allow me to host NA meeting in their building.  Without those meetings my recovery world have failed a very long time ago.

This drug took over my daughters whole entire life, and ours as a family!!! Then she started to go to NO MORE TAERS.. and told me about them! The morning I was taking her to treatment, we stopped by there. I was just so absolutely touched how loving the whole atmosphere was!!! Nice couch where people were actually asleep, all covered up and cozy and felt safe - I could tell. A nice lady sitting at a nice big table talking to clients, and two amazing ladies in the office, who got up and hugged my daughter, told her how proud of her they were and asked me to keep in touch, to let them know how she is doing.

 Delia, Amanda, and all the wonderful volunteers. When I was in my active addiction, I felt lost, broken, and hopeless. I didn’t believe I deserved help, and I didn’t believe real change was possible for someone like me. No More Tears showed me that I was wrong. They met me with compassion instead of judgment, support instead of shame, and love when I couldn’t love myself. They didn’t just help me “get clean” — they helped me get help. They guided me toward the resources and support I needed to begin my recovery journey. Even now, as I continue healing, they are still there. That ongoing support means everything. Recovery isn’t just about stopping — it’s about rebuilding, growing, and learning who you are without addiction. No More Tears has been part of that rebuilding for me. This organization truly saves lives. They care deeply about the people they serve, and they walk beside you through the darkest moments until you can stand on your own. I am living proof that their work makes a difference. I am incredibly grateful for No More Tears and for the hope they helped restore in me. Because of them, I am healing. Because of them, I am growing. And because of them, I have a future I once thought was impossible.

They never gave up on me, even when I gave up on myself, and for that, I can't thank them enough.
